Meet Rich Killian

I picked up a barbell over 20 years ago, and I've been hooked ever since.

What started as a passion for lifting weights became something much greater. I experienced firsthand how strength training could transform not just my body, but my confidence, health, and overall quality of life. The stronger I became, the better I felt, both physically and mentally.

That experience sparked a passion that has stayed with me ever since. I wanted to help others discover what strength training had done for me.

After more than a decade working professionally in health and fitness, I can genuinely say that I love what I do. One of the most rewarding parts of my career is the relationships I've built with my clients. Many have trained with me for years, and I've had the privilege of watching them grow stronger, overcome challenges, and accomplish things they once thought impossible.

I look forward to coming to work every day. Getting to know my clients, celebrating their accomplishments, and playing a role in improving their lives is something I never take for granted.

More Than Just Strength

While strength training has always been the foundation of my approach, my passion for health and fitness extends far beyond the barbell.

Over the years, I've explored bodybuilding, yoga, boxing, taekwondo, nutrition, and massage therapy. Each has taught me something different about the human body and how we can help it move, feel, and perform better.

I'm a certified Professional Barbell Coach (PBC), Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), and Precision Nutrition Level 1 (PN1) certified coach. I'm also a classically trained chef and graduate of the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City.

My background in cooking and nutrition has taught me that eating well is about more than fueling workouts. Good food should support our health while remaining one of life's pleasures.

My involvement in martial arts has also reinforced something I believe strongly: strength is only one part of being physically fit. Mobility, flexibility, balance, and coordination are just as important to me. I believe the best approach to fitness develops these qualities together, helping us become stronger, healthier, and more capable in everyday life.

My Approach to Coaching

Throughout my career, I've worked with people of all ages and abilities, from teenagers picking up a barbell for the first time to clients in their 70s and 80s looking to maintain their strength, independence, and quality of life.

Some clients want to build muscle or lose weight Others simply want to feel better, move more comfortably, or regain confidence in their physical abilities.

Whatever their goals, I believe everyone deserves the same level of care, attention, and personalized coaching.

I don't believe fitness should take over your life. I believe it should make your life better.

My goal is to give clients the knowledge, guidance, and support they need to make meaningful, lasting improvements in their health and fitness.

After more than 20 years of training, I'm every bit as passionate about fitness as I was when I started. The difference today is that nothing makes me happier than sharing that passion with others.
